Little plastic dinos? Damn. All I got was a key chain and a mini poster.

Saw the May26th screening, and I'm really wanting to thank Joss too. Thanks to EVERYONE who helped bring the BDM to life. Don't know what'll be different w/ the final version from the screening, but I'll watch enough times to figure out!

With out going into it much, I loved the movie. It was strange seeing the BDH up on the big screen. ( Yeah, that's been said a time or two) I'd have actually done a couple of things a bit differently, but they're such minor things, most wouldn't fret over them.

I saw it for the first time in Phoenix last night (Nathan was there. Yay! - He's as great in person as on screen btw). The crowd summed up my reaction immediately after the movie ended. The first things anybody yelled were "Play it again." and "Rewind!".

I had some impressions/thoughts/opinions that I haven't heard (exactly) before. I'm sure they're not spoilers because they give away no plot or story points:

Jayne has the most funny lines. Inara has the funniest lines.

There were a couple of places, mostly early in the movie, when I thought to myself that I wouldn't like it as much as the show. A couple of seconds later, that opinion would completely reverse.

This movie moves so FAST. It feels about ten minutes long. That's why everybody wanted to immediately watch it again, even though it was midnight and we had to work the next day. So much happens, so quickly, that I don't see how I could possibly put the whole thing together without seeing it at least six times, which I plan to do.

Biggest difference from the show - the SOUND. Much (immeasurably) better on a theatre sound system than on my tv speakers.

Oh, Nathan gave me the impression in the Q&A that NONE of the music being used in these showings is from the actual score that will be in the final film. Like I said, impression, maybe someone else who was there interpreted what he said differently...

I could go on for much too long, but it might get spoilerish, so I'd better stop.

LOVE LOVE LOVED "Serenity"

Chris B. was in Charlotte. He said that the effects were done, or at least mostly done compared to the last time he saw it(which would have been the previous round of screenings). Seemed to me to be the case too(I didn't see any effects that looked place holdery). But they were still doing sound/music and coloring in spots.

I was at the Riverside/L.A. screening and got a little dino keychain, packed in a chinese fast food box, from a woman at a washosaurus website. L.A. fans were great, sharing promotional items, food, and good cheer.
