WTF is considered "trolling" here.

I just saw the long thread about Jasonzzz and trolling and went over to "troll country" to check it out, not having previously seen what all the hubbub is about.

To my extreme surprise I found a post that I had put up on May 9th that was just an honest accounting-oriented speculation about how much box office the BDM might bring in. It was all done with (what I thought were) realistic (actually coservative) figures and no one on the thread at that time complained about anything.

Just below that, there was another post from some poor guy in Boston just trying to get a ticket to the 5/5 movie showing.

Why on earth were those posts put in "troll country"? I really don't get it. If those are the kinds of things that are considered trolling on this site, then I really don't see any purpose in my continuing to post here.

Any enlightenment that anyone can provide would be appreciated.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember your thread being out and replied to on the regular boards. Did you maybe accidentally do a multiple post when you first made it, so they moved the "extras" to Troll Country? Shiny said something to the effect that they can't delete entire threads, only individual posts within a thread. So to get the multiple versions out of the way they put them in Troll Country.

Otherwise I can't figure out why they would be in there.

"One day, lad, all this will be yours ..."
"What - the curtains?"

Oh, heck. My bad!!!! Everybody ignore this thread (although I still wonder why the Boston guy's post is in troll country...). That was the post I made when I was having trouble with my computer and I thought the post wasn't going through - apparently it was and I didn't know it.

Sorry again. Now I know what happened. Thanks, Montanagirl, for clearing that up.

My guess is anything that is offensive, disruptive, repetative, or unrelated to anything (junk).
But that's just guessin' on my part.

Hey, congrats on getting through Buffy S2. Is that great, or what? Enjoy S3. Many people consider it to be even better than S2.
