The president wouldn’t offer any more specifics because he said the whole incident is under investigation — another claim for which there’s no public evidence — but added “a lot of people were on the plane to do big damage.”

That's including a 47 from The Hill which is included, and a 46 and 49 from Harvard and Emerson (respectively) that had just aged off the aggregate, so it will actually be higher when they update.

Actually, it looks as if half of the regular polls have him at or over 45 now.

Which makes it HILARIOUS that IPSOS has decided to come out with a poll of 40 approval, down 3 points from last poll, when everybody else has either given him gains or at least maintained the same number as last poll.

You will recall, of course, IPSOS is the firm in charge of the 533 pre-selected people "polled" nationwide to frame a narrative that 2 out of 3 Americans disapprove of Trump's handling of The Coomph.

Now tied with May 20th.

Most recent poll is the IBD/TIPP poll. Last aggregated on September 1st with 39% Approval and 55% Disapproval, it is now showing 46% Approval and 49% Disapproval, closing the poll's spread by a staggering 13 points just after the 1st debate.

His approval is now 4.5 points above his 41.1% 2020 low on July 12th of this year, with his Disapproval 4 points below his 56.4% high on the same day.

Meanwhile...

The woke NBA is now showing historic low viewership. Lowest finals ratings since 1994, the first year the Bulls weren't in the finals after they won 3 back-to-back-to-back championships.

This should not be the case, since the Lakers and Heat are marquee teams.

The conspiracy theory that President Donald Trump pushed Monday that a plane “almost completely loaded with thugs” had been set to disrupt the Republican National Convention was almost identical to a rumor that went viral on Facebook three months ago.

In an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Trump claimed that “we had somebody get on a plane from a certain city this weekend, and in the plane it was almost completely loaded with thugs, wearing these dark uniforms, black uniforms, with gear and this and that.”

He then claimed the matter was “under investigation right now.”

There is no evidence of any such flight. When Ingraham asked for more information about the flight, the president said, "I'll tell you sometime." He then alleged the people had been headed to Washington to disrupt the RNC.

Before mentioning the uniformed men who allegedly boarded the plane, Trump claimed that there are “people that are in the dark shadows” and “people that you haven’t heard of” controlling Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

It should be noted that 40 days away from the election, Clinton was only up on Trump by 1.5pts in the Top Battleground states, and saw a 16 day push to being 5.3 points ahead of Trump 24 days from the election (which is the equivalent of today).

Clinton was on a very positive path seeing gains on Trump nearly every day for 16 days straight, Trump is now faring 0.8 points better against Biden than he was against Clinton with 24 days to go, and he has been gaining ground on that number nearly every day this week. Biden for the most part has remained stagnant in that time.
