Its getting harder to think uv McConnell az just a GoP party loyalist.

Hiz record during the Obama administration amounts to 'to hell with America, I am oppozing Obama at all costs' and explainable az wanting to pleez die hard Republican voterz and hold on to az much power for the party az possible.

But now, even wen Trump iz clearly hurting the party and serving Putin, he iz going along with everything Trump duz. Without Mitch, Trump woud never hav been able to do anything, and probably woudnt hav been elected.

In other wordz, he haz alwayz been hurting America, but maybe hiz motiv iz worse than we thot.

Iz he a long term mole? Or duz he hav a thret or Kompromat prodding him?

The legal correspondents I'v been seeing on the newz about Manafort say they do not understand wy he risked going to prizon for the rest uv hiz life. They only speculate that maybe he iz counting on a pardon.

I hav a better hypothosis:

American prizon iz better than deth by novichok, polonium, sarin, etc, or worse, getting dissappeared to Siberia for torture that lasts az long az they can keep him alive.

Coud Mitch be in a similar situation?

“If the US has someone whom historians will look back on as the gravedigger of American democracy, it is Mitch McConnell.”

I always thought Mitch the Bitch was compromised. The only explanations for the evil he's done would point to that.

We know his record. We don't know why.

Yet.

Yup. It's called Gish galloping.

The Gish Gallop (also known as proof by verbosity[1]) is the fallacious debate tactic of drowning your opponent in a flood of individually-weak arguments in order to prevent rebuttal of the whole argument collection without great effort. The Gish Gallop is a belt-fed version of the on the spot fallacy, as it's unreasonable for anyone to have a well-composed answer immediately available to every argument present in the Gallop. The Gish Gallop is named after creationist Duane Gish, who often abused it.

Although it takes a trivial amount of effort on the Galloper's part to make each individual point before skipping on to the next (especially if they cite from a pre-concocted list of Gallop arguments), a refutation of the same Gallop may likely take much longer and require significantly more effort (per the basic principle that it's always easier to make a mess than to clean it back up again).

The tedium inherent in untangling a Gish Gallop typically allows for very little "creative license" or vivid rhetoric (in deliberate contrast to the exciting point-dashing central to the Galloping), which in turn risks boring the audience or readers, further loosening the refuter's grip on the crowd.
