Do you even remember where it originated? Most people don't these days.

Look at the NFL. If I watched that before I'd never watch it again after the shit they've pulled for years.

But everybody I know who quit watching it went right back to it.

The existing generations are WEAK.

When the MLB went on strike in 1994/1995 my Cubs Superfan Grandfather who watched every single game that was televised said he'd never watch baseball again. For 8 years he never watched a single game and only started watching again very late in the 2002-2003 season only to have his heart broken again when Bartman caught that fucking ball.

8 years...Can you imagine what a self-imposed life change that would be for somebody when there are 162 games in a season?

And the real shame of it is, he never got to see the Cubs win once during his entire lifetime.

But I know at least 3 guys in my circle that watched the Bears get murdered on Sunday who told me they'd never watch another football game again only a few years ago. And they watched that game knowing full well the Bears' season was already over before Sunday's game even begun.

Pathetic.
