Older sis has a great plan thru her state with no co-pays and no deductible. After Obamacare, her rates almost quadrupled. And that's with a $3000 deductible AND co-pays.

Like a lot of things, I like to wait and see where the data is pointing. I was mightily unhappy when Obama took single-payer off the table, and even unhappier when he took public option off the table (after promising it in his State of the Union speech). The rollout was a stunning fiasco. But, I understand botched rollouts - they're more the norm than the exception, even in tech-savvy businesses. And Obamacare was complex - maybe in all of those wherefores and whereases it would come to some sort of acceptable equilibrium. But over time, the negative effects just kept accumulating. We seem to be stuck with all of the negatives of a government-mandated (near) monopoly, and none of the positives.

What a rip-off: big business and government, working hand-in-glove to rape the consumer and small business.

According to Francis, CNBC tried to silence her coverage of the Obamacare disaster by telling her she was “disrespecting the office of the president.”

(During the Bush presidency, most mainstreamers would have called that part of the job description.)

Trying to censor a reporter for reporting the truth is one thing. CNBC’s response to Francis’s accusation was even worse: Condescending mockery.
