Cave: I posted them elsewhere in depth, but to answer your question:

Mal, you nailed it. Never changes, does it?

The rest of you: Please continue with your game, don't let Mal or me interrupt you.

Yes, don't let facts get in the way of your cherished beliefs.

Well said, Niki. Well said indeed.

Note to self: I wonder how long Anthony will continue with his childish, moronic persecution of others whom he falsely accuses of things for which they're not guilty.

Niki,
Thanks for posting that. Sorry I missed it earlier. And I still believe this is an issue of the government mandating a religious institution violate their religious beliefs. However, since they have already showed inconsistency, they should offer coverage to their students.

I'd post some ATTENTION WHORE images, but I've spent all the time on the troll that it's worth.

Ah, so it's an issue of being denied what one has already paid for, not that the contraceptive is a particularly special kind or dose.

Then, for me, this brings up the question as to the specific insurance provider, and whether this is not so much a religious institution thing and more business as usual with insurance companies denying claims?

(I won't bother with getting into wrongful denial for now, since not enough is known)

And as I've asked before (and am as yet still awaiting an answer): Are you really comfortable in letting such a dim bulb set the agenda for your party?

Rush Limbaugh sets the agenda for the Libertarian party? I didn't know that.

How many members of the LIbertarian Party have you voted for for President?

Nice to see you respond to a post specifically directed at CaveTroll, though, and answer for him about his party.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

"... this is an issue of the government mandating a religious institution violate their religious beliefs ..."

And it's not about those institutions denying women free practice of theirs? After all, THEY are trying to impose THEIR religious restrictions on women. Why not make them wear a veil? What's the difference?

You might appreciate this quote from a convo earlier today with some folks downtown over the nature of "Christian" interference in Law and Society...

We have a right to practice our beliefs!

Well, you oughta practice some more, cause your execution of them is terrible!

Cave, how can it be forcing them to go against their religious beliefs if they're ALREADY DOING IT??? As far as I'm concerned there IS no issue of "religious freedom" here. For one thing, these, again, are RELIGIOUS-AFFILIATED organizations, not churches or other religious INSTITUTIONS, and they take money from the government. But the thing that makes it all moot in my opinion is that they ALREADY offer contraception to their employees, just not to their students. That's a double standard, to begin with, discrimination, and hypocrisy in the highest order. How can they even make a fuss when they're already providing contraception?? It tosses the "religious objection" right out the fucking WINDOW.

Ergo: made-up controversy. Political football, with the help of some religious types who probably knew better. Too bad someone doesn't nail them VERY PUBLICLY about the fact that they offer it to their employes. In any sane world, that would end the controversy right there...and I wonder what Rush would have to say about THAT! (No, I don't, I don't want to know one WORD about what that asshole has to say on anything!)

Limbaugh boycott cost Cumulus Media millions =>

This spring's advertiser boycott of Rush Limbaugh over his insulting description
of a female college student cost Cumulus Media "a couple of million dollars,"
Cumulus CEO Lew Dickey says.

"It hit us pretty hard," Dickey said in his quarterly call with financial analysts.
"A couple of million bucks in the first quarter and a couple of million bucks in
quarter two."

He didn't give a specific figure, but said it was "about 1%" of total first-quarter
revenue for Cumulus.

Dickey said revenue projections are "back to normal" for June.

. . . . .The worst and most frequent consequence of paranoia is that it's self-fulfilling.

]Man.....

As much as I may hate to admit it...

most of the times I'm glad that I'm so addicted to internet porn that whatever you're talking about now is a non-issue.....

Seriously...

I know I'll make a great Uncle and teach the kids how to fish and spoil them on their birthdays, but.....

No wife, no kids, no cell phone contract, house owned free and clear....

Even then, I worry about the future...

How the hell do any of you remain sane........?

Oh.....

Wait..........

Now I understand what I'm dealing with.

It's a night of Epiphany for Jack....!

Sunday, May 12, 2012....

I now understand why everyone else is completely insane!!!!

Whatever side you're on, that's your justification for being on whatever side you're on!

It's so simple!!!!

No room for shades of grey at all, is there??????

Rap?

Kwick?

No.....

Didn't Michael Jackson teach us anything?
