Didn't you just play the equivocation game and the "yeah, but..." game by comparing Schultz to the tea-baggers?

Schultz probably shouldn't have called her a slut, though. He should have called her a liar, a paid shill for the right-wing hate machine.

He's been on a bit of a tear lately, and he's flaming out in spectacular fashion, calling into David Serota's talk show to yell at the host to "Go to hell!" and hang up on him. This latest outburst paves the way for Comcast to replace him with a right-winger. And they just hired Michael Steele at MSNBC. How convenient.

What would you post if Laura Ingraham called some left-winger a derogatory name? Or if, say, Ann Coulter called John Edwards a "faggot"?

What would you say if the group that sponsored the "Freedom Rally" prior to the GOP's debate in South Carolina earlier this month called Hillary Clinton "Hitlery Clinton"? Would you be able to even contain your outrage?

And do you have any evidence that Ed's saying anything that's not true? Or are you just upset that he could be so... so, un-PC?

And are you really one to judge others when it comes to childish behavior and angry name-calling? Look at your own track record. Hell, look at how you just described Ed Schultz. What is it that he does in his job that's different from what Laura Ingraham does in her job? They're both political talkers. He called her a "slut" (and then amended that to "a talk-slut"), and apologized, profusely, which Ingraham accepted.

So you owe Ed an apology. You called him, and I quote, a "fat, angry man-child", purely a personal attack based on nothing at all, and having nothing to do with any real issues.

So apologize.

It's okay - we all know you won't. You're not man enough. Clearly Schultz has more class than you ever will.

Didn't read past the first post in this. I have said repeatedly, over and over, that I despise Shulz and will not watch his show. He is to the left, in my opinion, what O'Reilly and NUMEROUS of the Faux News commentators are to the right--not Beck, he's in a class by himself and not even Shulz is as "mad as a hatter" as he is.

But Schulz is way over the line--or at least he was the couple of times I tried to watch his show before vowing never to watch him again, and I doubt he's gotten better. To hold him up as representing ANYTHING on the left is ridiculous; his show will sputter and die (I imagine the ratings are pretty bad already) much faster than Olbermann's ever did...at least Olbermann was sometimes amusing and had SOME common sense, tho' he was every bit as rabid as Schulz.

He shouldn't have just been suspended, he should have been CANCELLED. That from a die-hard liberal (but NOT a Democrat). I've never heard word ONE against any of the angry, hate-filled thugs on Faux News from you or any of your die-hard conservative (not necessarily Republican) buddies here. What say you to that?

I meant to add that okay, I read the posts, turns out this thread is short enough not to waste TOO much of my time. What I got out of it DID waste my time, as it's mostly just Raptor doing his usual lying, twisting, and generalizing all lefties derrogatorily (izzat a word?) without any substance whatsoever. Think I'll go away again, maybe it'll be more interesting when I return.

Fact remains: Schulz is an ass; but not nearly that hate monger we see every friggin' DAY on TV from the right, and Raptor is a mirror image of that hate mongering, so why bother engaging him or trying to show him the comparison? Does not compute, folks, simple as that.
