Mr Gates revealed that he received quite a few altered images of the now famous situation room picture, which was issued by the White House.

One showed football players sitting around the table while another placed the much-mocked headgear Princess Beatrice's had worn to the Royal Wedding, on each security official's head.

Gates said he and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton feared the bin Laden photos might be altered in similar ways and endanger troops and ex-pats.

Senator Harry Reid has vowed he will not look at a 'morbid' image of Osama bin Laden's corpse, telling reporters: 'I don't want to see it'.

Mr Reid, who is sporting a black eye and broken arm from a fall while out for a run last week, made the comments to reporters yesterday.

News organisations, public interest groups and even one politician have all lodged official demands with government agencies to see the photographs of Bin Laden's body after he was shot last week at the Abbottabad compound in Pakistan.

President Obama has strongly resisted calls for the state to release the pictures as 'proof' of the terror chief's death at the hands of U.S. special forces.

The Associated Press, Fox News, Politico, Judicial Watch and Citizens United have all filed official requests with defence and intelligence agencies to publish the images under the Freedom of Information Act.

Michael Oreskes, senior managing editor of the Associated Press, said: 'This information is important for the historical record. That's our view.'

The agency has filed for video footage and photographic evidence taken of Bin Laden's capture and subsequent burial at sea.

In the request, it wrote: 'The Obama White House pledged to be "the most transparent government in U.S. history" and to comply much more closely with the Freedom of Information Act than the Bush administration did.'

Shortly after Mr Obama's decision, a Pakistani photographer sold Reuters gory images of three of the other men killed at the compound.

So having admitted to the fact that they produced fake videotapes of “Bin Laden” bragging about having sex with boys, the same intelligence complex, that has been caught over and over again lying about the alleged Bin Laden raid, now tells us that they found a huge stash of downloaded porn in a house that had no Internet connection.

This is P2OG in full force – the Bush-era black-ops program designed to “stimulate reactions” amongst terrorists – it’s like repeatedly hitting a wasp nest with a stick. They won’t need to pull a false flag because by deliberately enflaming anger throughout the Muslim world with continual taunts about how Bin Laden was gunned down in cold blood in his pajamas, about how he cowered and threw his wife in front of the gun, about his perverted porn stash, the Obama administration is virtually guaranteeing the backlash from which they will then reap the political capital.

Calls from top Democratic political operatives for Obama to exploit a new terror attack in order to re-establish his image as a strong leader will come to fruition if the White House continues to use the fabled raid to try and goad terrorists into striking back.
