White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Wednesday that the administration owes former USDA official Shirley Sherrod an apology.

"I would do that on behalf of this administration," Gibbs said at the daily White House press conference. "A disservice was done. An apology was owed. That's what we've done. Decisions were made based on an incomplete set of facts. Members of this administration, members of the media, members of different political factions ... have all made determinations and judgments without a full set of facts."

Gibbs added that "we live in a culture (in which) things whip around, people want fast responses, (and) we want to give fast responses. One of the great lessons you take away from this is to ask all the questions first."

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack also will apologize Sherrod, a black former Agriculture Department official who resigned under pressure this week.

"Secretary Vilsack has tried and is trying to reach Mrs. Sherrod. When the Secretary reaches her he will apologize for the events of the last few days and they will talk about their next steps," Gibbs said, adding they will speak about the status of her job as well. The White House contacted the Department of Agriculture on Tuesday night in order to ensure that "fairness" was done in the case.

No one at the White House, including President Barack Obama, called for her firing, Gibbs said.

Yeah, like we all believe that last part. Suuuure. Idjits. "Omygawd, that looks bad--FIRE HER!", more like it...

Just goes to show...

Libs will get rid of anyone QUICK if their propoganda machine, and their hold on the word "racist" gets proven false.

They use "racism" like the Jews use "anti-semetic".

Its a fulcrum to garner support for whatever evil deeds they intend to perform.

So, who is lying ?

Ms Sherrod ? She seems to have been vindicated on this matter.

The USDA director ? Vilsack supposedly got Shirley to pull over to the side of the road, on behalf of the WH , to force her resignation.

Or the White House ?

Wow. Not only did you completely dodge the easy multiple part question, you also added your own nonsensical reply.

Breitbart is lying ?

Please, explain that one.
