They seem to think they're above the law...much like politicians, actually!

Lindsay Lohan’s legal problems escalated Thursday when a warrant for her arrest was issued, and the prosecutor handling her case expressed a dim view of the actress’ actions in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com.

Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers told RadarOnline.com exclusively after the court hearing: “Judge Revel went above and beyond to tell her to appear today. Miss Lohan should have been at the airport with her passport. She knew she had to be here and she wasn’t.

“It appears she is thumbing her nose at the court.”

The judge revoked Lindsay probation, set bail at $100,000, ordered random drug testing to take place at least weekly, also ordered her to wear a SCRAM bracelet and not consume alcohol.

It’s clear that both the judge and the prosecutor are not in the mood for excuses from the actress who was ordered to appear in court Thursday, but went to Cannes and then claimed her passport was stolen.

Meyers told RadarOnline.com exclusively: “Judge Revel clearly had the authority and was reasonable in issuing random drug testing, wearing the SCRAM bracelet, no alcohol consumption and the $100,000 bail was not excessive given the circumstances.

“If this was anybody else, celebrity or not, this is what would have happened to them.”

Rumor has it that she "sent a desperate email to friends and acquaintances trying to score a private plane for a ride back to the U.S." What's wrong with just getting on a plane like normal humans do?

There have been so many stories over time about these idiots flaunting the law...and sometimes get away with it. Are they stupid, or do they really believe they're above being held responsible?

Are the two mutually exclusive?

I think they're vapid and shallow, and self-absorbed, and I think their agents, handlers, and "entourage" just play into that by constantly telling them "Don't worry about it; I'll take care of it." This gives such people the distinct impression that the day-to-day hassles of life are for "little people", and they needn't be bothered with such things, even when such things involve court appearances and jail.

America loves a winner!

The more she continues to spiral out of control, the more I think back to her in the remake of The Parent Trap. Such a bright future for such a great looking little kid. She really did seem to put forth a positive message, in her teen years, by promoting smart, stylish and independent minded characters for young women.

And now this.... wtf ?

Bones: "Don't 'rawr' her!"
Booth: "What? she'rawred' me first."

Lohan this week at Cannes Film Festival

That's what she gets for pleading to guilty to ANYTHING. Probation is usually 10 times longer than any jail sentence, and the conditions of probation are impossible to comply with unless locked in a rubber room 24/7. Any slip (being late for 1 meeting) results is arrest and being sent to jail for the MAX sentence.

Gotta keep those prisons full, at a tax increase of $50,000 per slave.

USSA has more slaves/prisoners than all other nations combined.

Over 100-million Amerikians are arrested every year, in a nation of 300-million...

Lohan was arrested for DUI. BTW the legal limit for blood alcohol is 0.00%...

"There's a report out tonight that 24-years ago I was apprehended in Kennebunkport, Maine, for a DUI. That's an accurate story. I'm not proud of that. I oftentimes said that years ago I made some mistakes. I occasionally drank too much and I did on that night. I was pulled over. I admitted to the policeman that I had been drinking. I paid a fine. And I regret that it happened. But it did. I've learned my lesson."

"Cheney’s first DWI conviction came in November 1962 when he was 21. According to the docket from Cheyenne’s Municipal Court, Cheney was arrested for drunkenness and 'operating motor vehicle while intoxicated.' A Cheyenne Police Judge found Cheney guilty of the two charges and hit him with a 30-day suspension of his driver’s license. Cheney also had to forfeit a $150 bond posted at the time of his arrest. Further information about the case - such as the defendant’s blood alcohol content or whether Cheney was jailed following the arrest - is unavailable since other court records from that period have been destroyed, according to Wyoming officials. Details of Cheney’s second Wyoming arrest in July 1963, have also fallen victim to time and records destruction practices at the local Municipal Court. But a police arrest card maintained by the Rock Springs Police Department shows that Cheney was fined $100 for his second DWI conviction. The card lists the charge against Cheney, who was then working as a groundman laying power lines, as “11-44,” the criminal code classification for drunken driving, according to Police Chief Neil Kourbelas. At the time of the Rock Springs arrest, Kourbelas said that local cops and judges would not have known that young Cheney was a repeat offender. The police department, Kourbelas said, “wouldn’t have had the ability to automatically check with other jurisdictions to find out if anyone had prior arrests or convictions. We could have arrested Jack the Ripper back then and had no idea what he had done.”
