Dude, you are hella evil for laughing at that. For serious! You should be ashamed, or at least arrested.

Just kidding.

I suspect we inhabit opposites ends of the political spectrum, and I got lol'd. Nothing is above a good, mean laugh. Absolutely nothing. Especially those who think otherwise.

No, Wulfie, on this one, you're okay to laugh. It's a hideous situation down there, but the idea of a government being run out of circus tents is just too goddamned ironic. And iconic. Shit, I wish they'd make OUR government run out of the fucking things for a while when the Haitians are done with them!

Not to mention that their government was a circus BEFOREHAND....

or that this is the range and extent of help that another French-speaking people are willing to provide...

or the implied indignity of being forced to work in a place where clowns operated (horrible, horrible, somehow-worse-than-regular FRENCH clowns...)

Now you are being an idiot...

Should I go get cites of the aid France and Canada both has sent down there ? Why bother

Hell, a French plane with 50 doctors and nurses and equipment for 4 full operating theaters was forced to divert when goddamn Hillary Clinton was making her photo op at the airfield and the USAF closed it to all traffic...

Well, in fairness, Gino - they probably didn't want Hillary to have to run to the plane under sniper fire again.

And yeah, Wulfie - it's not about THEIR government or who THEY are as a nation or a people; the joke is simply in the image of ANY government operating out of circus tents. Damned fitting, is what it is. And since governments are typically such an amalgamation of fuckin' clowns anyway, it just seems the perfect place for ALL governments to work.
