The markets pay attention.
When Barry says he's going to fix the economy, the market drops. When MSM says dems are going to win another seat, the market goes down.
This weekend, Barry start anew with "this recession is goin to last a long time under my reign" and what not, and the market immediately jumps up.
Let's hope this clueless turd spouts more jibberish about how we'll be in a depression soon and what all.

All my funds are now up 20% from their low.

People are just freaked out because our Commander In Chief of 8 years is finally about to leave office....we all know how good he's been for the economy, and if Obama weren't soon to take his place we'd all be living on Big Rock Candy MOuntain by now....

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Funny - Obama speaks on a regular basis, and the markets have gone up 9 out of the last 11 sessions.

Bush speaks, the market plunges.

Its what he's saying thats making the difference.

He's going back on his tax plans, throwing out his spending plans, forgetting his war and foriegn policy plans and everyday naming someone centrist or conservative to his cabnet.

DREAMTROVE

Actually, statistically, presidents speeches have no effect on the market. The only influence that govt. has over the market is monetary policy. I worked for a broker for ten years, we did a lot of back checking on this, anyone can do that now, online. Don't waste time speculating or casting aspersions against one side or the other, it's just chasing shadows on the wall.
