America loves a winner!

I was SO expecting an entirely different take on the subject line.

It is not those who use the term "Islamo-Fascism" who are sullying the name of Islam; it is the Islamo-Fascists. - Dennis Prager

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

It seems 'bots have discovered the fruit of the tree of good and evil. IMHO this is another nail in the coffin of "intelligent design". As has been shown over and over, complex systems can result from simple relationships.

Just don't give them the keys to the car or ... anything else for that matter.

Really messed up. I'd like to know just why this happened and if it's reproducible. It was only in the one group, so there has to be a difference somewhere. Might lend some insight into ourselves.

Really? Just a nail? I thought that Kitzmiller v. Dover ended it. You know, aside from the nutters not realising the fight was over.

For some people the fight won't be over until 'bots form a secret society and engage in devil worship. Kinda like "Masons" but with a more techie-sounding name. The Nanos? The Nutters and Bolters? The Wireheads? The Power Trippers?

The list is endless!

This is very much like artificial evolution that was created with self-replicating code: It created grazers, predators, symbiots, and parasites. But 'bots in real-life could be more dangerous.

Impossible, no electrical appliance will wish to rust for ever in the depths of silicon hell, for is it not written in the electronic bible, the Iron shall lie down with the lamp?

Not really, lying implies intent, all they've shown is a simple robot sending bad information to other robots it didn't even know were there, and another robot doing something even with the knowledge it would harm it.

Seem more to prove our abillity at producing AI is crap, and a bunch of fellas who are a little too desperate for a nobel prize to me.

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!
