I gave up sports bikes 4 years back when I found myself doing over 140 mph up the mountain course on my CBR 600. I realised I no longer had the eyesight or reactions for that style of riding.

A few corrections. We do pay income tax, but only 18% max. We also pay National Insurance as in the UK - which has become income tax by another name. We also pay VAT - sales tax to our US friends. Nigel Mansell left years ago.

Having said that we still find it a great place to live. But for 2 weeks each year the place just goes mad as we are invaded by bikers. This year is the 100th anniversary so we have far more bookings than usual and it may move from being mad to ludicrous. We'll see!

Regarding video feeds it has all got a bit commercial. Duke Video and Greenlight TV usually have the rights sewn up and threatened legal action when local amateur footage was put on YouTube last year. That brings out the rebel in me but I don't have a decent video camera.

Our sattelite channel Men and Motors gave reasonable coverage last year but I doubt that is available in the USA. Head over to the Duke Video website for DVDs etc.

Go for it! The Isle of Man TT has history and a willingness for the population to suspend normal life for 2 weeks each year. But the opposition seems to be quietly growing and the greed of our ferry company has led to some bad feeling this year. The organisers have also upset many riders by turning down entries from regular competitors to admit higher profile riders who not normally compete.

It is only my gut feeling but I suspect this year might be the peak of the event and then complacancy, 21st century litigation and the health & safety mafia will slowly kill it off.

In the meantime it is great to have all these bikers coming over. You could be sure that they would not be part of the Alliance.

Bikers are just gonna have to learn how to fight for freedom, by whatever means necesary. Running around drunk and nekked at the Isle of Man races is not "freedom". Taxes are the abolition of private property, ie, Communism. Traffic tickets are taxes extorted at gunpoint, ie, slavery.

That's what we're starting to do at Deals Gap, starting with raising the bogus speed limit from 30mph back to 55mph, with a DOT traffic engineering survey this week, thanks to me talking to state reps, and bitching on my TV show about Tennessee naming a local highway for a convicted hit-and-run killer of a biker tourist. We currently have a Million Man Boycott of Tennessee by the American Motorcyclist Association because of that drunken crime spree by a state senator. Getting a sanctioned street race is still a long way off. It seems the local CIA mafiosi like to keep a low profile (is that what Joey Dunlop was doing in Yugoslavia?).

Wow - a lot to take in here.

To deal with the mundane the Channel Islands do not have VAT, neither does Gibralter. We do. The IOM Government has done quite well out of it until recently.

Freedom I don't feel I have the vocabulary to discuss being a techy computer specialist. I feel reasonably free here - certainly more so than the UK which is becoming a police state. Always "in your own best interest" of course.

I am still waiting to see my first naked biker - the street theatre has calmed down a bit. Most of the drinking is very amiable and the vast majority of trouble is caused by local youngsters caught up by the occasion.

As for Joey he had a heart of gold, sought no publicity but did a lot of charity work in that part of the world, filling up his van with goodies and just driving out there. CIA? I don't think so but what do I know?

As a homicide prosecutor told me during that murder trial, they can't shut down drug dealers because it would destroy the US economy. The mass-murdering drug dealer in that trial had a false passport to Columbia, and was employed by DEA/CIA/Bush/Clinton White House. Bike racing isn't any different. Most bike dealerships in USA are apparently owned by drug dealers from various mafias, for money laundering purposes. The Jap bike manufacturers are probably owned by the Yakuza mafia. No US manufacturers are allowed to compete with them. Even Harley Davidson bikes are mainly foreign built. As my mechanical engineering professor told out class in 2000, "In 10 years there will be no manufacturing jobs in Tennessee."

I ride a Triumph, which is half British half Jap, with Italian tires/tyres. Even Triumph quit racing after its rider was killed at the TT. Paul Young Racing is having many problems with the 675, which has a freak frame running over the engine instead of beside it. Buells are a joke, since they refuse to compete in racing, which is the only way to train factory engineers.

My interest in racing is strategic geopolitics. Without racing a nation literally cannot survive, since racing has always been the foundation of manufacturing. USA's first manufacturers were personally racing drivers, like Henry Ford, Eddie Rickenbacker, Wright Brothers, etc. It's also the only way to improve highway safety, by inventing new safety technologies, like seat belts. Fuel cells are banned by all auto manufacturers, but that racing tech costs less than $100/car, and would save 3,000 Americans from burning to death each year. THAT is a proven conspiracy.

So was Joey Dunlop a drug dealer, or MI agent? That would explain his expensive winning record, his refusal to do interviews, and trips to Eastern Europe. Was he assassinated and dumped on the side of the road with a "head injury"? Was he killed by MI6? KGB?

As a racing survivor, it irritates me that I had to compete with career criminals who NEVER played by any rules, both on track and off track. The same is true for any busness owner in any career field, where mob owners never have to turn a profit to survive - all they have to do is bribe gangstas in govt, who give them license to perp any crime. Tough to compete with that.

Here at Deals Gap TT, MANY bikers own several dozens of streetbikes per person, especially race replicas. As a general rule, either they're doctors in death camps, or mobsters laundering money. So I can't get away from them, unless I hunker in my bunker.

The fortnight had been going really well until that last race. I believe there was another 'incident' at an event today (Saturday).

In most other respects it has been a good TT. The Island has been invaded but it has been a friendly invasion and even the weather turned out dry in the end to the relief of the thousands of campers I am sure.

Back to work and some kind of normality on Monday.
