Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Breaks my heart to watch this. He's recovering, slowly, and I'm proud to watch the effort he makes to speak clearly, despite the obvious difficulty of doing so:

Occupy Oakland is going to shut down the port again December 12th...some of our people are going over there. Let's hope it turns out better this time!

Freedom is Important because People are Important

Hello,

It disturbs me when the Occupy movement prevents people from getting to work or doing their jobs. Were the police not so brutal in their response to the Occupy people, I'd lose much sympathy for them when they perform these antics.

Anthony, we already know how strongly you feel about ANY impediment to your ability to get from A to B. We went through that at great length, if you recall.

Just out of curiosity: If OWS were to bring about, in the end, a situation where our elected representatives actually REPRESENTED us, the two parties (or more) were able to work together to improve the country, infrastructure was dealt with, poverty lessened, the middle class became viable again, and improved the situation otherwise, would you still look back years later and resent the extra difficulty people had getting to work? Just curious.
