Depression is a sly fox. I have been battling it for years. Lost count on how many different meds My doctors tried before finding the right combination. I also feel fortunate in finding excellent help.
Of course 14 years of alcohol abuse didn't help.
So a little help from Bill Wilson, Dr. Bob and their gang at AA certainly was welcome.
Andrew had a tough battle. He lost the one thing that my doctors had to pound in my head and that is "one day at a time".

I met Walter Koenig at a Trek convention last Summer. He was very gracious and enthusiastic with the fans. I feel very sorry for him for losing his son.

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

When does suicide ever? I remember my first "crash"...don't ever want to go there again! Husband was scared shitless; luckily they found the right meds for me, too, and it's never reoccurred.

Nowadays I recognize one coming and just ride it out; I know nothing I decide while I'm in an episode should be taken seriously, so I don't make any decisions!

I'm sorry for Walter, he seemed like a nice guy. I got kissed by Dee Kelly at the only convention I ever attended; he was sweet.

Doubly sad today is apparently Marie Osmonds son also took his own life today.

There's really nothing I can say to it, but that I hope they found peace on the other side.
