I have seen it several times at home. The movie still works for me, every time, which is the point of the movie -- knowing what will happen next, same as the hero. The movie is intended for multiple viewings.

There are parts I love to watch again, and there are parts that I missed the meaning. Still, great story, excellent script, acting, pace, and great comic timing. Heh - me either. Sometimes a cylinder is just a necessary design solution.
A great design imho for a one person ship with an impressive forward view - the fact that they made a life size one for the movie makes it even cooler. I would love to fly like that.
