Wonder who it was. Chechen Rebels?

Terrorist acts are senseless, either way. It's not the average loveable goof on a railcar who's responsible for the sad state of some other country, it's the leaders. And even if attacks are aimed at people who could directly effect the situation, how exactly does that win you any sympathy?

You said it, Anthony.

( Snarky mode OFF.)

What's really sad is that in the bad old days when Russia was a dictatorship with KGB informers and goons and Red Army security guards everywhere, this stuff didn't happen. Give 'em freedom and human rights and you get anarchy and a country run by organized crime.

Not sure what the right answer is or was, but what we did and what happened are not it.

DREAMTROVE

I'm opposed to humans dying. ,I'll await any further analysis until the dust settles. My experience has been that so far, large scale terror attacks are almost all inside jobs, including the Beslan school bombing. Only exception I can think of is the bombing of Girls schools in Afghanistan And Iran, which was done by a militia we hired, but neck. Under our orders, they were also smuggling drugs.

Second thought is that there are almost no suicide bombers. A bomb at an airport was probably meant to be placed on a plane, but the bomber probably would have, but the bomb went off.

The bomb randomly going off happens a lot. Bombs are really dangerous. This is also something that happens more, but not exclusively, to amateurs.

I guess he's still a suicide, but suicide bomber, if this is the story, is misleading. I think the term is always intentionally misleading.

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Yeah, I've been hearing about that one, it's horrific.

I don't know about "all" terrorist attacks being conspiracies, and I think the Russian government works so differently from many other countries (including us), that a massacre might not be something they'd want to do. Just my opinion.

I pray those injured survive, and my thoughts, too, go out to those who lost loved ones. SO many people...

HARDWARE

I can only imagine that it was a very large bomb. I mean, just imagine a large suitcase. Plenty of room for nails and explosives in there.

Terrible news.
