Hello,

Despite the illogic of it, I feel a bit proud to have a blimp that was stationed in Arizona out helping to direct the activity in the Gulf.

I suppose when that mission ends, they'll put it on border duty, testing sensor packages on human traffic.

America loves a winner!

Makes sense. Blimps are a great platform for such activity. Slow moving, economical, and can stay aloft for long periods of time.

( for some reason, that almost sounds dirty. Must just be me )

Gee whiz, took em long enough - yes, they're also cheap to operate and surprisingly mobile, were it not for a serious lack of trust in how such things would be used, we'd be inclined to share the design for our mini-van based unit, cause that really was put together on a string budget and works bloody well for all that.

You do gotta keep an eye on the weather though, and get that baby down quick if the wind starts pickin up.
