Much appreciated thoughts there, AR.

To be honest, that WAS the tack I was trying to take, that joe average with the right mindset and a weapon can indeed resist effectively if they should choose to.

And that "self-defense" includes not winding up in that situation if possible as well.

And Kirk summed up pretty well why I think it's a good idea, that being the salient point - I do not *require* other people to agree with me, only acknowledge my point without making nasty "rambo" or "hollywood" comments because they happen to disagree with my opinion.

In fact I said exactly that.

YOU gotta make that decision, the same tack I take on everything from politics to racism to self-defense and beyond, is that it starts by people making their own decisions.

It'd be nice if folk respected it when people did, and yes, I know everyone here's guilty of some level of it, but I admitted imma dick about this one, and even pointed out why.
