So? I rehearse my openings for Jury Trials. Turns out its hard to stand up in front of a bunch of people and say stuff. Sure, I can stand there and picture the audience in their undies...but that leads to a whole different kind of problem.

Its just good practice. You put time in for prepartation and maybe a little bit of time thinking out ahead of time what your going to say...maybe writing a few talking points, and it pays off later when despite low pole numbers you still get everything you ask for.
