So, Hollywood-types have taken over my city to film the movie version of "A Prairie Home Companion".

Come to downtown St. Paul and you might spot the painfully skinny (think Auschwitz skinny) Lindsey Lohan among others...

Last night we had huge thunderstorms with tornados spotted around the state. Is it especially cruel of me to think ...

"Wow! Lindsey Lohan better be careful! One of those tornados could pick her up and put that toothpick *right* through a tree trunk!"

Okay, I'm dismounting my cruel socially aware soap box except to say, Eat a friggin sandwich! Hell, eat an ice cream sandwich!

LL is not painfully skinny, at least everytime I've seen her (and I've seen pics of her lately). She's what's called young and slim.

You want Auschwitz painfully skinny, you need not look any further than that Olsen twins. *shutter*

I'll make an assumption that you are living in the US (I think this is a good one on this board).

Now, given that the US is in general... overweight, I will concede that she may be relatively "painfully skinny." BUT, that is only relatively.

For normal youth, she may be a little underweight, but certainly not this painfully skinny you speak of. In fact, my wife states that she's seen her a little chubby (time frame unknown).

She used to be a beautiful young girl. Not anymore. Really, not anymore. I do have to argue this. She looks like her bones are going to cut her skin to ribbons.

The Olson Twins also make me want to order an emergency platter of spaghetti for them to share.

Yep, the average member of John Q Public has a few too many pounds wearing them down - but the typical Hollywood producer's obsession with death thin walking corpses is horrendous.

I read an interview with Jessica Alba where she said she heard Hollywood types calling Jennifer Lopez 'fat'. And that by strict Hollywood standards, Alba says, her ass is too big.
Alba and Lopez, two big fat blobs.

Holy crap. Is that really the same person? I feel like yelling the same thing my girlfriend does whenever the Columbia corporate logo comes on at the beginning of a movie, "EAT SOMETHING."
