Yes, I do know how intel comes up with casualty figures. Look it up on the internet. I've explained it to you at least once already.

That said, your post shows why you are subject to believing propaganda and conspiracies. Because as you put it, the establishment media all make the same conclusions and you refuse to believe them. Well, last I heard, they pull those figures from Budanov's ass. And Budanov, like our spooks, lies like a rug.

The only CREDIBLE figures that I know of .... figures that are backed by EVIDENCE and calculated with a transparent methodology... are from Meduza, and they're much, much lower.

AFA Kiev's KIA, the KIA figure swirling around is 1.4 million, re-calculated from Kiev's treasure trove of documents released by "hackers". If the 8:1 ratio holds (determined from a sampling of soldiers on both sides) that means 175,000 Russian KIA. That's in the same realm as Meduza's figures, estimated from death and funeral notices, probate proceedings and so forth. When two different methodologies arrive at the same estimate, it's probably a good figure.
