I hope the weather is at least pleasant.

I was so rushed this AM I had to cut the dog walk short, which was too bad bc even tho predicted to be hot today, the weather was quite pleasant early. But hubby had an appt and I remembered that I forgot to check the vehicle tires, since one sensor was reading low. So there I was, sweating in the hot noon sun, checking and pumping up all the tires on both vehicles like I promised. And one tire was indeed a tad low (24 psi).

Yesterday was 98F, and kind of weird weather, bc despite a pretty good covering of cirrus clouds, at ground level it was hot ad dry. Today cooled down all the way to 96. Tomorrow and the day after, 92 and over 10 days it'll get to 86. This descending air mass just doesn't want to shift.

We have AC but I've been unmotivated to cook, so today was ham, cheese, and avocado roll day.

Been doing a deep deep dive into estate and trust tax law with an eye towards keeping as much money as legally possible from the tax man. I found a couple of options and I'm gonna pencil whip the two possibilities, but I'm also going to consult a couple of investment advisors.

Still been taking care of money business, and have an appointment with a financial planner to make sure that when we die our assets, such as they are, flow smoothly and with as little tax taken out as possible!


But today was a one- day break in this (what seems to be by now) relentless heat wave, so I went out and did a little raking and cleanup under one of the avocados.
