Pelosi as I understand if third in line for that Nuclear Red Button

Now I'm not an American but here is US Law and Constitution as I understand it

The 25th Amendment formally outlines the transition of power if the president is unable or unfit to serve.
Section IV the law of section 4 allows the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet to remove the president from office.

Quote:

Amendment 25; Section 4
Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.

On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was murdered. Kennedy's assassination made it very clear to Congress that they needed to figure out a solution about presidential succession right away. The United States was in the middle of the Cold War. The new President, Lyndon B. Johnson, had once had a heart attack. The next two people in line for the presidency were the Speaker of the House of Representatives, John McCormack (who was 71 years old), and the President pro tempore of the Senate, Carl Hayden (who was 86 years old).Congress started moving more quickly.

On March 30, 1981, a man named John Hinckley tried to kill President Ronald Reagan. Reagan was shot and needed surgery, so he could not invoke Section 3 to give power to his Vice President. His Vice President, George H.W. Bush, did not invoke Section 4, because he was on an airplane returning from Texas. Reagan was out of surgery by the time Bush got to Washington, D.C. pp. 195–6, 253-5
In 1995, Birch Bayh, who had written the Senate version of the 25th Amendment, wrote that Section 4 should have been invoked

Article Two, Section 1, Clause 6 of the Constitution says:

In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected.

Well, I hope they do well. Trump already had the HCQ treatment, so hopefully that will help. As long as nobody sends the Trumps (or Hope Hicks) to New York so they can kill him off by shuttering him in Cuomo's Nursing Homes.

This does raise some concerns about the election. He should be fully recovered by then. But if something happened to Trump, would Pence be able to carry the mantle? He has watched for 4 years to see what has worked, would he be able & willing to continue all that? Would voters believe that he would?

It would of course be disastrous if Obiden won, but would Pence offer enough to appease the voters?
Would any individual State have a special reaction to this, different from most other states? CA, NY, TX, IL wpouild all be the same, but what about others?

If Trump were incapacitated, it could be disastrous for America.

But after going to Hospital on Friday, he met the requirement yeterday for release, and is scheduled to be released today.

First Lady Melania staying quarantined to protect her Secret Service Agents.

A stark contrast to Obiden's BLM/Antifag goons attacking and assaulting Secret Service Agents in Lafayette Park.
