I've got some hard, cold political facts:

Armageddon starts on the plain of Esdraelon in Northern Israel which is also described as Jezreel or the valley of Megiddo. From that single Biblical factoid, the GOP jumped to the monumental conclusion that the USA must always back Israel against the world.

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hated Hillary and Obama because the Democrats would not place Israel ahead of the USA, while Trump promised he would. Netanyahu campaigned for Trump. Trump promised to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and supported Jewish settlements on the West Bank. America Second, Israel First!

But Trump's Israel promises were insincere. Oh dear God! So unsurprising! It is a cold, hard political fact about all Trump's promises being insincere. You might even say "Fake Promises".

Benjamin Netanyahu is not okay with that but at least he doesn't have to deal with Hillary, who would have been even colder than Obama toward Netanyahu because of his support for Trump.

I disagree. The GOP has not shed the burdens of the bible. President Pence would have gone all the way with Israel. President Trump, being both a non-believer and all around crook, will say anything to get what he wants, although Trump does take care to calibrate his lies to not alienate Republican voters when he violates his promises when it is convenient and profitable for him.
