Just a bit of Jaylee fluff...or it could be. Post Heart of Gold

“Haven’t had a good bit of trim in a while ‘n’ ya were real good girl.” Jayne complimented the girl standing beside him.

“Ain’t none of the women on your ship accommodatin?” Helen asked.

“Don’t much like to carry on with girl folk I gotta live with.” He grinned to himself. To tease ‘em he didn’t always give the girls that impression. “’Sides Zoë’s married and a stone killer, ‘Nara’s a companion who don’t service crew, River’s crazy and Kaylee..” he trailed off

“The mechanic, she’s real pretty. What ‘bout her?”

“She ain’t interested in me.” Jayne said this as an accepted fact. He wanted it to be that way. Kaylee and he were friends and he weren’t ‘bout to loose that, didn’t have that many real friends. “Anyway she’s all fong lah for the doc.”

Helen couldn’t believe that any woman wouldn’t be interested in him. He might be a bit rough, a bit slow brained but the man was so swai. He was good in bed, a fighter, protector, be a real keeper for the right girl.

The doctor was a complete contrast. He was good lookin’ alright, but so stiff and proper, hadn’t even looked at any of the girls when he came in.

She’d seen the girl when she came in, heard a couple of her wistful comments. If Kaylee weren’t lookin’ for companionship as well as sex, Helen didn’t know girls.

Helen liked to meddle, it was her hobby. She wanted to thank these people who’d come to help a bunch of whores. There wasn’t much she could offer really, exceptin’ for her meddlin’. So when they were clearin’ up and Kaylee was nearby she put her plan into action.

“So Helen how was the big guy?” that was Wendy always wantin’ to know every detail. “Any good?”

“Ai ya” she didn’t have to fake that sigh “big all over, beautiful muscles.”

“And?” prompted the girls.

“Good at sex, wo da ma. Gave real pleasure didn’t just take, ya know? All technique though, makes ya wonder what he’d be like with someone he cared ‘bout. I’d have him back any day, wouldn’t even ask him to pay.”

She watched Kaylee takin’ in what she heard, an arrested expression on her face, and was satisfied that at least she got the girl thinkin’.

“Meddlin’ again Helen?” Petaline queried

“Just a little bit” she smiled “its my way of sayin’ thanks. Guess I’ll never know if it worked or not.”

He was her friend. Good to have around when you were in trouble. She’d been real pleased when Jayne showed up at Serenity to help her ‘n’ Wash out of their jam. He’d come into the common area, gone into the passage and taken the bad guys out. It didn’t even take him five minutes. He’d grinned at her and ruffled her hair all friendly like, no sexual feelins’ there.

Jayne might not have be thinkin’ that way but Kaylee was.

Cause now all she was thinkin’ ‘bout was what she’d heard at the whorehouse. She hadn’t ever really thought seriously ‘bout Jayne that way. Cause she’d looked at him, joked ‘bout sex with him, but she hadn’t really thought of havin’ sex with him.

But she didn’t want just a roll in the hay, didn’t want to loose his friendship. So while she was wonderin’ what it’d be like with him, she was also tryin’ to plan how to do it right. Make it good for both of them.

Jayne was feelin’ nervous, Kaylee kept lookin’ at him out of the corner of her eye like she expected him to do somethin’ wrong. “What?” he demanded.

“Nothin’, just thinkin’”, she grinned at him and kept on thinkin’.

Fong lah = crazy Wo da ma = fuck me

I do so LOVE when you post. And... you know, I have always wondered at the end of that episode who finds Kaylee and Wash.

Damn straight Jayne's a good catch.

But one tiny thing... you got the lose/loose thing mixed up a few places.

My only nitpick here was that it was too short!!

Oh, but there has to be more. What became of them? Huh? Huh?

*puppy eyes*

See, I always wondered what was wrong with the women on Serenity, why they didn't notice that big hunk of man in their midst. The fact that none of them were interested in him astounds me.

Now Kaylee's interest is piqued, I wanna know if she's gonna do something about it.

GREAT Jayne/Kaylee fluff!!!The fluffiest!!

Thanks, bookaddict.

Jayne always puts a smile on my face.

Ditto to what CantonHeroine and Jacqui put ......... Are you going to continue this? Will Kaylee make her move? When & how?

I'm agreeing with cantonhoeroine and Bellona here: the girls on Serenity must be stir crazy not taking notice of a fine piece of man such as Jayne.

I really loved this tho, it was so well written.
