Precious Cargo 4 by April

Author's Note: Sorry this has taken awhile. I'm suffering from some writer's block. Thank you to everyone who reviewed the previous parts and I'll try to make the next part longer for you. Reviews are greatly appreciated. Enjoy the story.

He hadn’t expected any of them to wake up before his crew returned. Certainly not the little one. The smallest of the three, and the first to fall asleep on the walk to the ship he hadn’t thought the sprite would wake up till morning. But here she was staring at him, unblinking. Not enough to freak him out…no absolutely not…

He was about to leave the infirmary when the girl moved. Almost quicker than he could blink the little one was attached to his leg looking up at him, blue eyes filling with tears.

Then he heard a sound. One that made the little girl attached to his leg hug tighter. One that made him almost want to cheer.

The sound of his crew starting to return.
