Sequel to "Finding Trouble". Simon and Kaylee help each other clean up after Simon found himself greasy from his trip to the junkyard. *Adult Situations*

CATEGORY: FICTION    TIMES READ: 2517    RATING: 9    SERIES: FIREFLY

Disclaimers: Joss Whedon and Mutant Enemy own all characters. I'm just borrowing them for fun not money.

Author's Notes: Thank you for the comments on my prior stories. Like any author, I thrive on feedback. It's been a long time since I've written a sex scene, so bear with me. I have another one started, but I wanted to write this one first.

Pit Stop

Simon had watched Kaylee clean grease and oil off her skin many times, but thinking about it now, he wondered why he never assisted her. He decided that tonight, he'd change that. The idea of helping her shed her coveralls appealed to him and made him almost forget that he wore equally filthy attire and was covered in the same dirt and grime. "Whacha thinkin' 'bout?" Kaylee asked sweetly, catching a guilty gleam in the doctor's eyes.

"Perhaps the notion of getting out of these clothes."

Kaylee arched a curious eyebrow. "Anything else?"

"Maybe, but you'll have to wait and find out."

Kaylee's eyes widened with mock shock before she started to giggle. "I could getcha outta those clothes mighty fast." She reached for the snaps on his coveralls.

Simon snagged her arms in midair. "How about we take things one step at a time," he suggested. He clasped her wrist and led her to the tiny sink in the far back corner of the engine room. "Ladies first," he insisted as he unzipped her coveralls and pushed them off her shoulders, freeing her arms. Lathering up a washcloth, he began to wipe the dirt and grime from her arms. He tried to hide a chuckle as he wondered how she managed to get just as much dirt on her skin under her coveralls as on the protective clothing. "Wha'so funny?" she asked, standing impatiently. She couldn't wait for her turn to coddle the doctor.

"Just curious, bao bei. How did all this dirt manage to get on your delicate flesh?" He traced the cloth up and down her dirty arms, watching her eyes shine with excitement.

Kaylee laughed. "I had to roll up my sleeves a few times 'cause my cuffs kept gettin' caught on wires when I was tryin' to free various coils."

"That explains it then," he answered. "Okay, my love, how about that face."

"Wha 'bout my face?" she asked, blinking her long lashes at him.

Simon had played this game before and knew he should avoid that question. The only way to avoid answering was to keep her lips busy. The only way to keep her lips busy was to kiss her, and kissing the mechanic was something he enjoyed doing. He felt like he was still making up for lost time as their moist lips met hungrily.

Kaylee wrapped her clean arms around his soiled coveralls, pressing herself against him. She only broke the kiss when her lungs began to burn for oxygen. Without a word, her hands reached for his coveralls, and she successfully unsnap the button by the collar and lower the zipper.

He shrugged out of the top portion of his coveralls, noticing that his arms were not nearly as dirty as hers. His hands had come clean when he washed her arms and hands. Still holding the rag, he wrung it out and began to wash her face. He watched her close her eyes and could feel her slip her arms under his shirt as she sighed contentedly. When he finished, he pressed his lips against hers. "Your beautiful, shining face is clean from all foreign matter," he breathlessly informed.

She tactfully pulled the washcloth from his grasp, rinsed it, and then reached for Simon's face. She slowly and meticulously wiped each dirt track and grease streak, from top to bottom. Her body brushed against his repetitively, and she could hear his soft, muttered grunts of appreciation. "Do you like that?" she asked sultrily, her hips purposely finding the growing bulge still concealed within his coveralls.

Simon didn't reply with words, but instead, trapped her hands in his and pushed her against the sink. He kissed her enthusiastically, sliding his tongue inside her mouth and feeling their tongues mesh. He tugged her coveralls down, followed by the pants she wore underneath them before he sat her bare bottom onto the edge of the sink. The zipper on his coveralls skittered down as Kaylee's hands pulled the sides of his outfit outward and then quickly unbuttoned his underlying pants.

He moaned throatily as her hands freed and stroked his erection. He lifted her shirt just far enough for him to suckle one breast and then the other. His tongue flicked across each nipple as she arched into his prying fingers, gently caressing her nethers. Her whimpers aroused him further. He slowly pulled her forward and lowered her onto him.

Kaylee immediately wrapped her legs around his waist as he thrust into her from his standing position. She felt him back her against the hull as she kissed his neck, feeling his breath blow through her hair. Her hands dipped below his cotton shirt, and she could feel his back muscles ripple as he moved so fervently within her.

She rolled her hips downward to meet his upward thrusts. "More," she begged, her heart beating rapidly and her breath coming raggedly. As her climax built, she warned Simon, "Soon…can't…"

"Me…too…" he gasped back. He felt her tremors shake through her just as he came. "Oh God, Kay…," he tried to whisper but met her lips covering his. He took a few steps away from the hull and slowly sank to the floor of the engine room, cradling his lover in his weakened arms.

Parting and taking a deep breath, Kaylee looked up at Simon. Her legs lay lax on this back of his. "It's a little late to be layin' down now," she smirked.

"I tend to get the order of things messed up sometimes," he revealed, placing his knees on either side of her hips. His fingers traced her clean but damp face, and he brushed her hair back. "That was incredible. I may need to help you clean up more often."

"I wouldn't mind a bit," she replied, sliding a finger across his bottom lip.

An unknowing Jayne walked into the engine room towards the sink. "Hey, Kaylee," he bellowed out, "ya have an' extry of that goop ta git greas…Wuh de ma!" The mercenary's eyes widened as his mouth dropped open. "In here? You gots rooms."

"This is my room." Kaylee crossed her ankles tighter around Simon to hide her naked lower extremities. "There's 'nother tub on the workbench," she answered Jayne's unfinished first question.

Simon buried his red face into Kaylee's shirt as they both heard the departing voice of Jayne, swearing, "Go tsao de, sonofabitch."

She couldn't help but giggle and tangle her fingers in Simon's hair. "That was more than he bargained for."

Recovering slightly, Simon mumbled, "Well, we've had the Captain walk in on us. Twice. River's, well, you know, seen us, which she's been warned to never do that again." He listened to Kaylee laugh a bit louder. "I'm pretty sure Zoë and Wash saw us back at Haven. Now, Jayne. That makes the whole crew save for Inara."

"And Shepherd Book," she reminded coyly.

"That shouldn't be too much of a problem now that he is on Haven."

"Ya never know. We seem to dock there more an' more."

Simon slyly smiled. "We will just have to be a bit more careful then, won't we?"

Feigning a pout, she replied, "I s'pose. 'Specially if Jayne tells Cap'n 'bout this."

"He wouldn't?!?" Simon inquired fearfully.

"Hope not, but you know how he shoots his mouth off."

"Ai ya!"

Kaylee giggled again and stroked his face. "I think we should finish this in our room." She wiggled beneath him temptingly.

"I think that is a…" His breath caught in his throat as she hit the right spot. "…a marvelous idea. We've only managed to clean our faces and arms. There is still so much to be cleaned on the human body."

Glancing around the room, the two dressed enough to get them discreetly from the engine room to their room. On the way to their room, they passed an energetic Jayne, leaning against the counter in the galley. River's pants and words of affection could be heard even though she was completely hidden by the mercenary.

Kaylee covered Simon's eyes and quickly pulled the doctor through the dining room. Once back in the hall, she muttered, "At least no one else is s'posed to be in the engine room but me."

"I did not see that. I did not hear that. Did I?" an ashen and flabbergasted Simon asked.

"See no evil, hear no evil," she replied. "But, now we have something on Jayne if he decides to yap 'bout us."

Simon wasn't comforted by this statement. There were some things he didn't want to know about his sister. However, it didn't take Kaylee long to help Simon forget what he had heard and seen as they continued to clean up after their journey to the junkyard.

This is so cute! I'm not a Simon/Kaylee fan, I know it's canon, but what can I say...Anyway, you told it well! And Jayne walking in on them! Hy-ster-i-cal! And a touch of Rayne at the end. Love it!

One nitpic, though. At the end you have "this sister," when it should be "his sister." Damn typos!

Keep up the great writing.
