Not that anyone doubted my dedication to the fandom...
Just thought I'd share a little conversation I had today. It's not a little thing, gorramit!

Vera Made From MDF and PVC
Can't believe I didn't post this already. This is made from scratch out of MDF and PVC, using mostly a router and a scroll saw. I'll have the whole costume together for Salt Lake Comic Con.

Aim To Misbehave
This is not mine, I found it via https://www.facebook.com/BringBackFirefly

This may be the greatest baby photograph ever taken. Maybe.

Nathan Fillion and Jimmy Stewart
I've seen a few of these floating around, so I decided to do one for two of my favorite actors.

Persephone
I've recently been introduced to another great sci-fi show, and honestly, there's no reason that these two 'verses couldn't be the same...

Osama Checks In
Couldn't help myself.

Starfest 2011 Firefly Cosplay
I found a few others with Firefly cosplay going on. I'm the one in the Jayne hat. I'm afraid I didn't get names for everyone in the picture, so if you're here, speak up and get credit for the great costumes.

Summer Glau as an Elf
By request - Summer Glau with pointy elf ears and all. The costume and background are from Shaiya (the MMORPG). I know it's not terribly original, but it was quick and easy, and most of all, it was fun.

To get a higher resolution, just right click and select "View Image" or "Show Picture."

Jayne Special
This is the Wilco Models Jayne Special (as well as the hat my wife made me - I love that woman!). I used a dry-brush technique to paint the pistol.
