JOSS WHEDON, the creator of the BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and ANGEL Television series, will appear on stage to speak about the FIREFLY Television series being released on DVD, as well as the upcoming movie. Some FIREFLY cast members, writers, and executive producers are expected to join JOSS on stage.

If you missed FIREFLY when it first aired, now is a good time to catch this unique series with the FIREFLY THE COMPLETE SERIES DVD. The FIREFLY DVD contains all fifteen episodes, including three never before aired on Television. The story is set 500 years in the future, with Captain Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds and the crew of the Serenity picking up special jobs-both legal and not-to keep food on the table and fuel in the tanks. This Science Fiction Western received great critical praise when it first aired, but was not given enough time to build an audience. So if you are already a FIREFLY fan the DVD Series will let you view the unaired episodes, and new viewers get to see all the episodes without the weekly wait. The FIREFLY movie is scheduled to start filming in 2004, so the DVD is a good starting point for background on the series.
