Oh? I thought he wasn't able to appeal unless he posted a half-billion bond? I guess the media lied to you again, huh?

Quote:Originally posted by THG: Really, then why is he pleading with the court to accept a guaranty, bond, of 100 million instead of the court ordered guaranty, bond, of 500 million? Why then is he saying he can't come up with the rest? I don't know. It doesn't look like he's doing alright to me. T

I don't like giving the Government a $1,000 interest free loan with my income taxes so I claim 2 on my W-4 whenever I start a new job. There's no way in hell I'd be giving them a half a billion dollar interest free loan that would require me to liquidate assets because I don't have half a billion dollars sitting in a safe. You are a very stupid person, Ted. Congratulations on your breathing being involuntary. Trump will be fine. He will also be your next President.

You are a very stupid person, Ted. Congratulations on your breathing being involuntary. Trump will be fine. He will also be your next President. New York courts have levied enormous fines against former President Donald Trump in recent weeks. He owes more than $83 million for defaming the writer E. Jean Carroll and more than $450 million for his real estate empire’s fraudulent business practices. No matter how much Trump rails against the courts — so far he has labeled them “absolutely ridiculous” and “a Complete and Total SHAM” — he still needs to figure out what to do about the judgments while he appeals them. And at this point, he doesn’t appear to have the cash on hand. If he doesn’t make a plan, he could be forced to fork over the funds, a messy route that New York Attorney General Letitia James has nevertheless said she is prepared to undertake. James is behind the civil fraud suit against Trump and his business partners that culminated with Judge Arthur Engoron’s whopping Feb. 16 fine of $355 million plus tens of millions in interest, which is accruing at a rate of more than $100,000 per day. A federal civil jury determined the amount of the smaller fine on Jan. 26 in a win for Carroll, who maintains that Trump sexually assaulted her in the 1990s. In both cases, Trump will need to put up either cash or a bond covering the full amount he owes, plus a little extra, to cover interest while he appeals. He has until early March to come up with funds for the Carroll case and until March 25 in the fraud case, according to The Washington Post. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-is-staring-down-half-a-billion-in-court-fines-with-no-obvious-path-forward/ar-BB1j05Ye
Quote:He has to put up a bond that covers the entire judgement against him before legally he can appeal. Only in the delusional world you inhabit does he have a choice. In the real world he is fucked. Unless he can find someone to guarantee the entire amount, or put up enough of his assets himself, come March 25 the NY district attorney will start selling off his assets. His property moron. too funny

Quote:Originally posted by 6ixStringJack: You say unable, I say unwilling. He'll get all that money back, and if his lawyers are any good NY will be paying him interest and damages as well. Trump will be fine. He will also be your next President.

His property moron. too funny That's a new rule that has never been applied to anyone before and made specifically by the totalitarian regime currently in power today in a sad attempt to eliminate any competition. Maybe we'll just fast track this whole thing to the Supreme Court and put it to bed. Everybody involved in this on your side is going to lose their jobs and some of them are going to see prison time. Tick Tock

One of these days you'll realize that they're full of shit once you can reconcile the fact that they're only telling you what you want to hear for your clicks and likes.
