I know we're never going to be friends, and I'm also keenly aware that when you read this, if you read this, it's going to be taken with the skeptical eye that I deserve, and probably isn't going to change anything going forward.

We don't have to be friends. Ever. But we should not be at each other's throats all... the... time...

I'm exhausted with it. Aren't you?

I know that all I've done is fed into that. Is it any wonder we're so magnetically opposed to the political opposition out there that all we do anymore is dig in our heels and go at each other's throats all the time? We find these people running our country so awful and diametrically opposed that we've made it so personal it's like every time we post we're on the attack.

I sit here half the time and look at both you, T and Second, like you're somehow representative of everybody who votes for Joe Biden*. Well... at least white educated guys that vote for Joe Biden*. And I'm sure you both look at me like I'm representative of everybody who votes for Trump. Dumb, uneducated, redneck, racist, facist.... God... I'm so not. But I know I feed right into that, don't I?

Yanno what? I'll come right out and say it. I don't want you to view me as a representative of the Trump voting electorate.

Jesus Christ, I would hope that my behavior as my 6ix profile isn't the behavior of the average Trump voter. I am an Asshole.

Maybe you don't agree with me, but I believe that we're more or less on even footing, here. And whatever deficit you may believe I had will be at least nullified somewhat by this apology.

I don't want to be the focus of everything you think is wrong with the world, and I don't want to look at either of you in that light anymore either.

I'm not Trump's Avatar. You are not Biden*'s Avatar.

Whoever wins in November, the world will still turn. Some of us are just going to be a little more pissed off than the other ones are though.

I don't have any idea how we're going to fix this. I don't even know if it's possible.

I'm going to try not to reply when you guys post articles that I know are bullshit. Yeah... I'm never going to apologize for that, obviously. That's as much as I can do.

I just don't want to do THIS anymore. I start every morning off in a bad mood, and I feel bad knowing that I'm probably the reason that you're in a bad mood too.

Hey... if you're in a great mood everyday and I'm reading the room wrong, that's great news. I'm not, and I don't want to feel that way anymore.

Can we just try to get out of this loop?

Don't reply to it unless you really care one way or the other. I don't expect my apology to be accepted by anyone. I'm just going to try to bring down the temperature is all.
