I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

The true purpose of modern education, just like modern psychology, is to fit people into the society of TPTB. Bang those square pegs into round holes. Students are to be useful when they grow up. That is why students are supposed to be taught, as opposed to learning how to learn.

Instead of exposing the true purpose of modern education and openly disagreeing with it, Postman continues the fiction that "it has none". A very disingenuous argument.

Or if he really doesn't understand the true purpose of modern education, then he's abysmally stupid
