America loves a winner!

All the victims are believed to be members of the extended LeBaron family, who live in a religious community in La Mora, northern Mexico, a decades-old settlement in Sonora state founded as part of an offshoot of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints around 70 miles south of Douglas, Arizona.

When I saw the pictures and read where it was all women and children, I wondered what was up w/ that.

Then we find that they're part of some religious community, ( cult ? ) , which for some ungodly reason chose to live on the wrong side of the freaking border.

Traveling in 3 SUV's.... yeah, easy to see how the group , in a SUV caravan, could be mistaken for a rival drug cartel, trying to move in on their rival's turf.

It's horrific, tragic and was likely 100% avoidable. Not saying they'd have been overlooked if they didn't LOOK like some rival cartel, but damn... why do folks live like that when they know damn well it's dangerous as hell in that part of the world ?

It's like a single woman traveling alone in a foreign land.

No, it's not ASKING for it, but you still need to use some damn common sense.

Start the back and forth cries of revenge and racism which will come , no matter what.

I recall a dude whining when his daughter was killed during a robbery at the Baseball Stadium. He thought that because they lived in the neighborhood, they were safe from crime because they were ACROSS THE STREET from Murder Central for the state.
