Or, are they going the MSNBC route and exploring the possibility of expanding their fan base.

The No. 1 ranking in prime time is impressive considering how sports-driven the month of October is. But this news cycle is unlike any other we have seen. Fox News was the most-watched network in cable news for the 202nd consecutive month. It also beat CNN and MSNBC combined in total viewers in prime time, and across the 24-hour day.

Remember that even with these "high" ratings, quite a bit less than 1% of Americans watch it every day, meaning that less than .5% of Americans watch CNN and MSNBC. I find that to be the best news I've heard in a while. Do Right, Be Right. :)

Hey Six, did you happen to notice what I say there at the end? Yes, Fox leads in the ratings race, but, as you correctly stated, how many Americans actually watch? Anyway, it's kind of disconcerting that Fox, with it's particular brand of "news" delivery, is leading the pack.
