I was wondering if you found any games to play? I couldn't remember what thread we were talking about them in, so I started another...

I wanted to tell you that I was reading on Steam about the types of people who play Slime Rancher and most of their demographic is in China, with the vast majority playing from a computer that has Windows 7, so I'm pretty sure yours would still do the trick.

I get that the name is off-putting, and it sounds childlike and stupid and dull. Like I said, I blew it off too.

They are doing a new update next month, with a new land to explore, and they have a couple more planned this year.

I am just sure you would enjoy it. They even manage to work in some moral themes into the stories of the people in the game that are interesting in a non-preachy way.

The goal of the game is to collect all the 7-Zee rewards, and then at the "end" they send you a letter that is hilarious, and they have a cute music video at the "end" even though you keep playing.

There is at least enough gameplay for a hardcore gamer to get through in a couple months, so it's well worth the $20 and you can buy a Steam card at wally world in the video games section.

The kiddo and I have played through it twice so we can answer any questions you would have as well.

These are some of the critters, you feed them and collect their "plorts" which are basically refined materials that look like gems. You can put them in the lab and build equipment with them on a 3-d printers. Right now there are 6 different lands you can find them on, and you get a jet pack to fly around them on. You build corrals and garden plots to feed them and breed them and make cross breeds.

Oh, and when you get to the "end" they let you open vaults filled with treasure. You should have seen my kid bwah ha ha-ing like an evil genius...
