Saw an ad for this, seems to be a mini-series on TV.

Looks to be based upon the auto biography of the original Profiler, FBI Behavioral Scientist.
He was the first to gain access to Ed Gein, and it looks like this showing will have the first realistic portrayal of Gein.

Gein is the prototypical Hollywood Slasher, the basis of Psycho, Texas Chainsaw, Friday The 13th, Halloween, Hannibal Lector, etc.

If it holds true to the excellent book, I highly recommend checking it out.
