Short, who initially said Tuesday that he hadn’t yet been informed of any decision, resigned Tuesday afternoon...

NPR is now reporting on a 30-minute briefing by Scaramucci that he has implicated Reinse Preibus as the commander of these leaks.

Just goes to show you how much the RNC loves Trump .... not.

Mooch could not have stopped the leak you cite.

The nature of this particular leak suggests it originated in the national-security establishment. It is a very elegantly designed leak. The two transcripts belong to calls whose substance was already widely reported in the media; they give away nothing new.

Better still from a national-security establishment point of view: both calls make the foreign leader look good at home. Enrique Peña Nieto will be helped, not hurt, by his dignified defense of Mexican national interests; Malcolm Turnbull is shown being simultaneously compassionate to deserving refugees but stern in his defense of Australian law and preexisting agreements with the United States.

Best of all, from that same national-security point of view, the transcripts reveal Trump as an arrant fool without actually compromising any important U.S. national interest.

Interesting point of view. Somehow successors of Trump will bear the crosses of Trump, yet you make no mention of the culprit of all this - how Obama created the problems and rampant criminality, and his successors will bear his cross - like Trump is doing, and attempting to end it in one term.
