So Trent sang about with such disdain, and anybody who stayed down on their knees...

Shit....

The only "outside" NIN influence I've had in the last 5 years was a great joke from my normally very unfunny brother...

He said, in the voice of Jesus....

"Tonight we eat like Kings, my Brothers...!"

"And tomorrow, Judas takes me to see Nine Inch Nails!"

If only there were that much variety in days...

What was great for Trent, at least at that time, is that he found a positive focus for all of his normally negative energy. For nearly a decade he made a living off of being the "Beetovhen for lost souls", in other words, a wussy voice for a bunch of beta-males...

I'd actually probably have a great time hanging out with a group of women my age that went to NIN concerts back in the day, watching them cut themselves and each other....

I hope he's "straight" now, if that is what he really wants. After reading Anthony Kedis's book "Scar Tissue", and really believing that is what he wanted especially after he had children, I can't take anything somebody famous says on their word alone....

The last article I read with Trent, he sounded pretty good. He was massive... he put on about 80lbs working out... but that was just a substitute for the Drugs he craved. (Ask me how I know)...

He really was trying though... He had given up herion and cocaine for nearly 2 years and replaced them with working out 40 hours a week and drinking about 2 pots of coffee every day....

I have no idea what Trent's and David's opinion of each other were over the years. I know they made a great video together about a decade ago....

(Pretty awesome how David was "afraid" of Trent in the video when 20-30 years ago most adults would have been just as afraid of David :))

I'm afraid of nothing.

My only ambition in life is to provide for my niece. If possible, I want to be some sort of limited type of role-model for her.

I want Her to be a guitar/bass playing, singing, roller derby ass kicker with a 200 IQ and a full ride to college, but if she doesn't get the full ride, I'm already saving for her now. Hopefully the shit I'm saving now just pays for her pizza parties when the time comes. :)

I just looked up "HOME" on Youtube...

I'm not sure if it's because of my previous history or if it would be the 8th random result for you as well, but that was the result I was looking for...

I get the feeling that Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros are dirty, filthfy mongrels....

I hope my niece doesn't end up like that, but I hope she grows up with at least half that musical ability. They are amazing, aren't they?

6IX- I mean this with all due respect - Is there are song out there about "circling the drain"? Because that's what you're doing. All of your protestations about providing for your niece are just so much maudlin drunken pipe dreams. Booze and music are your whole world right now. Please, get help.
