This song came out when I was dating Dawn. She told me that it wasn't a traditional love song about a "lover". I didn't believe it at the time. I was a young, dumb kid.... Whatever family member she said it was about escapes me 15 years later, but that many years later I finally understand....

We all hung out for fireworks and at only 18 months she knew she wanted to be on Uncle Jack's lap. We stayed overnight and went out for breakfast in the morning.

It took me over 30 minutes to leave after I tried the first time. No matter who I passed her off to, she started balling when I went for the door. I walked back in and she fought with arms wide open for me to hold her. We had to resort to Disney-related subterfuge before I snuck out like it was a Metal Gear game..... There was no way I could leave if she was crying. (Thanks Disney Channel)

I wish they could stay that age forever. I know when she grows up I'll just be an afterthought for her, but right now She adores me.

Her mom is afraid that she'll say Uncle Jack before she says Mommy.

Maybe it's a little bit selfish, but I'm trying to make that true. I already got her saying "uck" for Truck and "ock" for rock.

I wasn't a genius like some of my brothers were. I just had a big head start since I was the first born child in the family and there was a lot of interest. There is a very good chance that she is the only child in this generation from this family born, whether she's first or not....

Sure, I'm going to "spoil" her, but it will all be with love.

If I have my way, she's already on her way to being Uncle Jack's apprentice Engineer.

She's so fucking smart.

It's only been like half a day since I seen her and I can't wait till Friday when everyone's coming over to my house for a BBQ!
