While all the protest and outrage has been the focus of the media in Ferguson. There is another small town, Pinelawn, that has had their share in controversy and corruption.

It is located a few miles southeast of Ferguson. But what makes this town unique is it's police force and administrative officials. The mayor, Sylvester Caldwell, has been indicted on federal extortion charges (Caldwell, at one time, was also the town's police chief). In a town of 2,300 they were issued 17,000 traffic tickets in one year.

Get this. The town's DA is also the family attorney for the Brown's of Ferguson. This is not so much a negative on the Brown family as it is on Anthony Gray. Why, because he's also the current Police Chief of Pinelawn (where corruption is rampant), but he's also the judge for that plus 2 other nearby counties (Wellston and Dellwood).
Even the illustrious Bob McCulloch has been called upon by Gray to investigate a police shooting in Pinelawn. Talk about conflict of interest.

So you are saying that, in order to propagate their fiction of Brown not being a career criminal thug, the corrupt Brown family needed to hire a corrupt attorney?
And how is this shocking to any reasonable passerby?
OK, that's right, you are not reasonable - you think Brown was innocent, and perhaps you even have deluded yourself to imagine he had his hands up and maybe even said "don't shoot" - silly me for momentarily overlooking your surreality.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Wow, that's awful!

Yanno, the Founding Fathers actually discussed the problem of "small towns" when deciding on a form of government. I think it it was John Adams who basically said that it's useful to have a forum where large numbers of people had to get together to make decisions (ie a nation-wide forum) because the intemperances and prejudices of one group would be counterbalanced by another.

Small towns can be great places to live, but they can also be hellish because they can be completely dominated by one or two assholes in positions of power.

[i/]Small towns can be great places to live, but they can also be hellish because they can be completely dominated by one or two assholes in positions of power[i/].

Apparently this is what's taking place in Pinelawn. A couple of assholes with power stepping on the necks of the general population of the small town that is 90% black.
Pinelawn is an impoverished town due to the greedy evil administrative officials who run the town with an iron fist. They even lie like politicians, with double talk, little-known ordinances and municipal trickery.

I brought up the revelation for the simple reason that I didn't know that Gray was so sneaky. The guy wears a Rolex on his wrist for crying out loud. How can a small town official afford such an item? Collect $150,000 worth of fines in one year from 2,300 poor people in your town. That's how.

Plus, this is really amazing. He asked McCulloch to investigate a cop shooting of an unarmed man in Pinelawn. Now, I ask you, does that seem right to you?

Let me ask you something. Where do you get your information? Do you have proof that Brown had a criminal record? Show me, as they say in Missouri.

Let me tell you something now. I did not know that Gray was involved in corrupt practices in another town, until I listened to the entire McCulloch interview, that he was a snake in wolf's clothing. I posted this because you guys always complain about the media, and yet here is a story of note, that literally screams bias and corruption, and all you can say is "how is this shocking to any reasonable passerby?"

Oh, that's right, I forget. You know it all. Obviously you already knew about this.

By the way, you obviously haven't been reading my posts or you would know that I admitted the fact that he took the cigarillos. And what I said was that the scumbag Wilson, the lying Wilson, the coward Wilson, had no right to kill Brown. Arrest him, yes. Kill, No.

And, another thing, if Brown's friend was equally as guilty. Why hasn't anyone arrested him yet? Why isn't McCulloch pressing charges on the witnesses he himself has said he knew were lying before the grand jury. Those witnesses perjured themselves. Perjury is against the law. He knew that they were lying, yet he has done nothing to enforce the law - in either case.

What about that little piece of news?

So you despise the Justice when it is served by the Grand Jury, but you want Justice dispensed amid all of the social unrest? And pursuing justice would be to the benefit of society in what way? You don't think enough honest businesses have been burned down? or you just want all the race terrorists to stay in MO for a while, and out of your backyard?
Logic failure.

WTF are you talking about?

I'm talking about small town corruption and the irony of Gray, a corrupt small town official, is now the "family" lawyer for the Brown family. He obviously sees a huge payday in the offing (the civil suit) and has placed himself in line for his piece of a rather large pie. Nothing more.

This is being totally ignored by the MSM. Only local news has a bead on this story so far.

Do you have your glasses on? Or are you that blind? My guess is that reading comprehension is not your strong suit.

And if you call what the grand jury served up as Justice, well, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell ya.
