Even if you don't read the articles or comment, please read what I've written...And yes, I know for some it's boring medical junk, but it has far ranging implications...

When mom got cancer, they did all these genetic tests on her, (being low income they use them as guinea pigs to get it right for the paying customers) and they told her to stop eating meat, so she became vegetarian and immediately lost weight even before she had any treatments. I have only part of that gene in that I can't eat nut protein, but the only time I feel any energy is when I have soy or animal protein. This is what I mean when I say gone are the days when you give blanket nutritional advice to the masses, because they are finding out that it doesn't apply to half the people you are speaking to...

Just think about all the people who have been eating the wrong things all their life, and how knowing what not to eat could change their health.

What they are basically saying is your entire body has connective tissue of various types and if that connective tissue isn't working juuust right, it manifests as an illness. If the skin connective tissue isn't right you have skin diseases, if the lung connective tissue isn't right you get asthma, if the connective tissue in your brain is off YOU GET MENTAL DISORDERS.


So far, I've asked six people who have one of these if they have family history of the others and I've had six yesses. This is HUGE. If they can find the gene or genes responsible and treat them, one third or the worlds health problems can be cured. Think of how many people you know that have allergies, asthma, eczema, high death rate of cancers, epilepsy, immune system problems... EVERY child in my family has allergies, asthma, skin problems.
It could change ENTIRE families.

Fixing this ONE gene(s) could change the PLANET, really...

And if & when they do figure out the answers, they're not exactly gonna
tell their rich patients a way to take care of themselves. Even if the docs
give'em the correct Body-Type diet, patients will be told to keep coming
back for tests & meds.

Meanwhile, the guinea pigs will be told nothing. (I have experience of this.)
I just don't think "they" want as many commoners as we have now.

I sometimes search the web & look for stuff that might apply to me.
I may try new stuff, calling it "a noble experiment." Much of the time,
I'm happy to just lie in bed.
Mother Jones News, I notice, carries a lot of articles on health.

I only "ignore" this big, important news because I already knew it. All this stuff about what you "should" eat or not... BS. I don't know how I knew it, except that I always distrusted anyone drawing lines as to how I ought to live my life. When it became an issue for me, I listened to my body. I tried eating this or that, and I sorted out for myself what I should or shouldn't eat.

If you've listened to orders from on high and obeyed them, that is a shame. I don't say that to be mean. I'm just happy for you if you're learning to trust your own voice above the "authorities."

Here is what I learned: I trust my own cravings, but I make sure that they are truly my own cravings, not the result of the ad-man games. If I really want to eat something, I do. Our bodies need fat. We need sugar. We need protein. If my body gets what it's craving in due time in due amount, it's satisfied and I don't end up giving in to the temptations of carefully crafted advertising for absolute crap that I don't need.

I think the worst dysfunction happens when we ignore what our bodies tell us and instead trust some advertiser or health "guru" (usually bought by the ad-men). What the hell do they know?

I'm glad that worked for you, but I think you missed the point?

Have you heard of the ketogenic diet? It's high fat, sustenance levels of proteins, very low anything else, and it absolutely essential for several kinds of people(e.g.. epileptics and some neurodegenerative disorders). By eating large amounts of butter and cream cheese and coconut oil, ect, they trick they body into burning fats for energy instead of sugars, (which replaces the sugars that cause problems in the brain), and many people have been completely cured by it.

I've also know people with extremely high metabolisms that need things like donuts to get through a day... There must be opposite people who need high levels of sugars in the brain to function as well...

Soo many different chemical signatures. I just found out I have a relative that is allergic to the cochineal bugs they use for red food coloring, and another that is allergic to latex and potatoes(similar in plant protein structure)

What I'm saying is you can't just say- Give up animal meat and donuts, because that would HARM some people...
