I rarely watch any sport, don't follow football at all, and refuse to participate in the media circus that is Super Bowl.

I made the mistake of watching last year, due to family pressure, when the most valuable player was a New Orleans electrician. Decided then that the SB is not a sporting event, but just a BS marketing hype.

Never again. Never...

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Don't watch sports that I don't do myself. Which means I only watch tennis... and not even that very much.

ETA Also, posting on FFF and doing dishes or gardening isn't an event.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

For the same reason I didn't watch the Olympics ... complete and total disinterest.
