Seems like the gov't there and al-Queida are starting to fight it out over the Anbar province. John Kerry says we will help the gov't, but not send troops. Not gonna provide a link, but it's on the CNN.com home page.

Which means that 10 years after we hung Saddam, we're ready to start a second half, tied 0 - 0. Brand new game, same as the old game. And the last I remember hearing, the Iraqi gov't didn't want American interference. 'Course, American interference to save their butts, that might be different... So 10 years of time, not to mention lives, money and effort, have been a TOTAL waste.

Time to give the whole thing up as a bad idea, and bring the rest of the boys home.
