Rabhi added that majority of new positions will be under union contracts.

“It will mean a net increase in union positions, which I am very supportive of,” Rabhi said.

Mind you, I've been quite supportive of Rabhi from the get-go, as despite occasional disagreements he's a stand up guy with strong morals and I fail to understand how he wound up in politics to begin with, but it benefits the community quite a lot.

The really tricky part of this one was finding the damn money and getting it allocated without stepping on any rules or political toes, not to mention finding physical room for all this - there's a detailed breakdown of that in the article itself.

Not quite as EASY as yowling soundbite propaganda, trying to make a real difference, but it's still worth it, in the end.
