Ayep, same basic principle as the Jaipur foot/leg, which is also produced for around forty bucks...

And unavailable whatever here, due to the absolute insanity of american copyright laws, the medical establishments fucking monopoly and the insurance company lobbyists, can't have affordable limbs yanno, where would the PROFITS come from, grrrr.

Extra grumpy about it at the moment cause of being saddled with a $50K prosthetic which DOESN'T EVEN WORK, and given that between the legalese arguments that functioning limbs are not a medical necessity and coverage limits and other legal bullshit I wind up stiffed with about $4K of that and not a motherfucking thing to show for it - AND I can't even afford to have the goddamned thing rebuilt or adjusted, since so long as it phsyically fits that's "good enough" for my provider even if it's entirely unusable, and here I am with a DIY handcrafted out of the remains of broken and worn out units, all cobbled together and less effective than I'd like, especially when I am already dealing with a chronic pain problem on no more relief than cheap rum....
Yeah, imma really happy camper, rrrrgghh.

Oh, and I *tried* to stealth-import a Jaipur, and fuckin customs caught it out and sent it back, fucking hell, maybe I shoulda packed it in cocaine, then they'd have prolly just ignored it.

Normally not a fan of lynch mobs, but the medical establishment here, right along with copyright and insurance lawyers kinda have that shit comin.

And THAT is too good for em!
