Saw it Sunday afternoon.........Wow! It was much better than I thought it would be. Awesome is the word, no wait, better make it Shiny!

My hope is that this will translate into "clout" for our geeky hero - Joss. Since Hollywood only understands the LOUD cashy-money $643.8 Million worldwide can buy a lot of clout. The success of the movie is in direct proportion to the success of the director - that's 2 for 2 (Cabin in the Woods being one). It's just a matter of time.

BTW RDJ and the rest of the cast had nothing but positive feedback about Joss as a director. This bodes well for Joss and for his fanbase. My geeky heart is all a flutter.

www.deadline.com is reporting the flick will make another $100 million this weekend, "Dark Shadows" will be #2 at around $28 million. I'm not going to bother seeing "Dark Shadows" even when it comes to TV, it's not suppose to be funny. What the hell was Burton thinking.

This is not at all surprising to me. I don't think anyone has ever complained about Joss as a director. Pretty much everyone in his projects has loved working with him, loved the atmosphere, had a really good time and been sad when it was over.

I had really high expectations for Avengers, I'm not gonna lie, and it just blew me away. I'm planning to see it again next week.

What reason had proved best ceased to look absurd to the eye, which shows how idle it is to think anything ridiculous except what is wrong.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Avengers Three-peats!

$55 million more this weekend, which is more than twice as much as Battleship, three times as much as The Dictator, and five times more than What to Expect When You're Expecting, all in their first week of release.

It is currently #5 on the all-time domestic box office list, and will likely overtake Star Wars early this week. It might barely beat out The Dark Knight before it's all over, but it needs another $76 million to do that. Over on the world-wide list it is #4, but not likely to go any higher since it needs another $147 million to jump over Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.
