Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Didn't someone put that clip up before? And we got the usual back-and-forth idiocy like those two on Maher were putting out. The woman is obviously a right-wing shill, but that other guy is such an ass...! I think most everyone understands what OWS is saying, and Grayson put it perfectly (as the crowd applauded). They DO need a spokesperson, or several, and Grayson would be great, except that he is a liberal democrat, so would immediately be branded by the right and lose OWS credibility. Of course, they have none NOW anyway on the right, but I don't want it to become an ACTUAL partisan movement.

What amuses me, and shows yet again how cunning the right is, is that OWS is being derided by the right is astroturf, when the Tea Party (despite how it really BEGAN) is blatantly obvious astroturf. It's like the race thing; accuse the other side of what you actually are/do; it works great for them.

The fact that OWS has no one spokesman and isn't carefully planned and executed is exactly what makes it true democracy; it's messy and may not succeed because of it, but it truly IS a gathering of individuals, as opposed to a massive effort by monied interests. Of course, that leaves them open to all these attacks, which is a shame.

Yes, I hope he runs again, and again and again; if it weren't for the astroturfed Tea Party funded by Koch, et al., he'd still be in office. I wonder how many of his constituents regret their votes by now?

And don't I know PRECISELY what verbiage will come back from you know who...is there anyone who doesn't?
